Chicken Broth and Entree in one!

The average Chicken Broth out of a box will cost you $2.24 !

A different way:
Buy spliced Chicken Breast. At about $2.25 a lbs it is 50% cheaper then Chicken breasts!

Cut of the skin and Breast. Clean the bone with water and make sure no weird stuff is there.  (I’d like to take all the fat off so I get a nice clean broth
Drop it in boiling water,
cut up
a large carrot,
1 small onion OR leek
1 Roma tomato,
twig of Celery
add  ½ tsp of dried Oregano (that will make that nasty boiled chicken smell disappear!)
1 bay leaf

Take of the foam that will appear and discard.
Boil for 30-45 minutes.
Add salt to taste, drain and tadaaaaa Chicken Broth!
And with the Breast you can make an entrée!!!
